Z tej cichej inicjatywy, by dzieła dotąd nieobecne w języku polskim mogły dotrzeć do rodzimych czytelników, narodziła się idea powołania własnego wydawnictwa.

Jej pragnieniem jest, aby poprzez swoją pracę tłumaczeniową dołożyć małą, lecz szczerą cegiełkę do odbudowy niezwykle bogatej kultury chrześcijańskiej w Polsce. Szczególne miejsce w jej dorobku zajmuje twórczość Gertrud von le Fort – wybitnej niemieckiej pisarki, siedmiokrotnie nominowanej do Literackiej Nagrody Nobla – której dzieła Anna przekłada z troską o wierność słowu i duchowi oryginału.

About the Translator

Anna Maternowska-Frasunkiewicz is a wife and mother, a linguist, and a translator of German, Russian, and English, as well as the founder of this publishing house. Guided by an inner calling, she began sharing excerpts from her translations on social media – books that move the heart, inspire reflection, and convey spiritual beauty.

From this quiet initiative, born of the desire to bring works previously unavailable in Polish to her native readership, emerged the idea of establishing an independent publishing house.

Through her work as a translator, she hopes to contribute – however modestly, yet with sincerity – to the renewal of Poland’s extraordinarily rich Christian cultural heritage. A special place in her body of work is held by the writings of Gertrud von le Fort, the eminent German author and seven-time nominee for the Nobel Prize in Literature, whose works Anna translates with deep care for both the letter and the spirit of the original.
